We limit the ability for unmoderated content to get wide distribution on Snapchat. We are committed to making Snapchat a safe and fun environment for our community, and have built privacy and safety features into our service from the start. Snapchatters can tag each other in Snaps, Stories, or Spotlight videos only if they are already friends or followers of those who have Public Profiles.
